4. What are the differences between Commercial Medical Escort and Private Air Ambulance?
A simple description of Private Air Ambulance service is a medical team of RN and Paramedic providing care on board a smaller, privately operated aircraft. Typically aircraft is a jet or turbo prop. Ground transportation is most commonly an ambulance.
It is the highest level of critical care available. However costs are very expensive, insurance coverages are limited, space is minimal and very few amenities. In our experience, private air services are not necessary for greater than 50% of patients!
Commercial Medical Escort allows us to use more travel options to aid facilitation of our patients and families needs. Our clinician provides one on one quality care and supports the travel experience. We can transport just the patient or a large number of family and friends also. We will coordinate the most appropriate ground transportation method such as a town car, limousine or shuttle bus. Our patients and clinician fly business or first class air travel. Patients can experience more luxurious travel amenities such as early boarding, ability to stand and move, drinks, food, proximity to lavatories, in-flight programming and a restful travel experience. Numbers of passengers or luggage is typically not a concern with Trinity Air Medical and Commercial Medical Escort.
5. Do you offer bedside to bedside service?
Yes, we offer bedside to bedside services. We also have the flexibility to arrange patient pick up from almost anywhere at anytime. Trinity Air Medical clinicians can begin care at your home, facility, hospital or while on vacation. If while traveling, you or a member of your family becomes sick or injured we will make arrangements for transport as effectively as possible. We take pride in keeping all parties well informed during each step of the transportation stages including a detailed exchange of information to the final receiving facility.
6. How much experience do you require for your employees and medical providers?
Trinity Air Medical requires a minimum of 3 years experience in their respective field. We are fortunate to average 5 to 7 years minimum with all of our clinicians. Nurses and Respiratory Therapists all possess Pediatrics, Emergency Department and Intensive Care time. Paramedics all have Fire Department or emergency flight Paramedic backgrounds. We recruit with high regards for competent and capable care givers.
7. What is unique about Trinity Air Medical?
Great question! Trinity Air Medical was created by experienced medical professionals who recognized a need in air medical services. Too often patients and their families were referred to expensive and unnecessary private air ambulance services when air travel was required. Personally, it was heartbreaking to see families spend tens of thousands on unnecessary services. Collectively we thought, there has to be a better way.
We hope our customer service is the difference that makes us unique. Trinity Air Medical is focused on performing Commercial Medical Escort services unlike any other provider. Our mission is to exceed our patients and their families expectations. We remain in constant contact throughout all stages of transport. Recruited clinicians who are not only experienced and skilled but also understand the importance of customer service, positive interactions and compassion.
Unlike other providers, we are not conflicted with also offering private air ambulance services. That is not our goal. Trinity Air Medical staff is driven by the passion to provide extraordinary customer service with efficient and cost effective solutions.
